Spring Season Update and Must Haves

Hey everyone Coco back here to talk Spring must haves! In LA we don't have much of a "spring" time because the weather is so warm and sunny usually. But! This year has been so cold and rainy we finally have our spring! With that, this is the season of change we are entering into. Lots of change has been happening for myself. I completely left the fine dining realm and decided to start my own business. A choice that wasn't so easy for me. After leaving my last restaurant I was offered a wine director position but it just didn't feel right. I really miss being part of a team and part of something bigger, but- the schedule and politics of it just wasn't working out bigger picture. Since then I have been focusing more on private education and furthering my own education as well I am fortunate enough that I have some side work I have been doing that allows me to focus more on myself. Which may I remind everyone is so absolutely important. Western culture especially post pandemmy has put a lot of emphasis on self care which is great. Keep an eye out for more content fun and sass soon. Okay lets move on because I have some great advice. Spring time? Aka rosé all day baby top for me and now you- Chateau Miraval the easily available rosé under $50 which is great, bring to a friends, family or just to the beach and black out while tanning. Liquid Farm also is a great domestic pick for rosé from just north of me here in LA in Los Olivos, most of LF wines have a french approach for  styling as I love Jeff's other wine as well. Some Riesling to mix in from Trimbach as well as an iconic producer also I recommend going older vintages for Riesling because that acidity reallllly just carries well over time and develops into a great aged wine that doesn't taste I guess you could say "old" to someone not as familiar with wine. Caviar is always on my list as a must have. D'Artagan has amazing choices from caviar to truffle and other butchering needs. I love to order duck from them they overall are amazing. Moving towards fashion I usually go the safe route and go to Revolve online and just scroll scroll scroll. Maybe ASOS...  But! This spring season of Simon Miller is absolutely amazing. This brand is so quirky fun and different but quality. I recommend the bubble clog it is my favorite piece from them and a staple. For flowers tulips will always be my first choice as I am Dutch and I just love them so much. Maybe that is why I love the bubble clogs too channeling my ancestors? Without a doubt there is a lot in store this spring season.
